The service
O que é.
A decarbonization plan turns the inventory into action. It starts from an assessment of the emission sources, ranks reduction opportunities by cost-effectiveness (MAC curve) and sets quantitative targets aligned with climate science.
Mangue Tech builds the plan to SBTi criteria: a minimum 4.2% cut per year in scopes 1 and 2 (near-term 2030) and 90% coverage of total emissions for net-zero (long-term 2050). We include an action roadmap by time horizon.
The plan covers real levers: energy efficiency, electrification, a move to renewables through Brazil's free energy market (ACL), supplier engagement in Scope 3 and, where needed, offsetting the residual through REDD+.

Preciso ter inventário de GEE antes do plano?
Sim. O plano de descarbonização parte do inventário existente: é dele que saem as fontes de emissão a diagnosticar e priorizar. Sem inventário de GEE, os gases de efeito estufa, não há base para construir a curva de abatimento nem para dimensionar as metas. Esse é o passo anterior.
Qual a diferença entre inventário e plano de descarbonização?
O inventário é o levantamento das emissões. O plano de descarbonização traduz esse inventário em ação: diagnostica as fontes, prioriza as oportunidades de redução por custo-efetividade na curva de custo marginal de abatimento (MAC) e define metas quantitativas alinhadas à ciência climática, com roadmap por horizonte temporal.
Quais metas de redução o plano define?
O plano segue os critérios da SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative): redução mínima de 4,2% ao ano em escopos 1 e 2 no horizonte de curto prazo (2030) e cobertura de 90% das emissões totais para net-zero no longo prazo (2050). As metas são alinhadas a 1,5 °C.
A Mangue submete e valida as metas na SBTi?
A Mangue estrutura o plano e apoia a submissão à SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative), mas a decisão sobre as metas submetidas é da própria SBTi. A Mangue também não certifica, não audita e não verifica: parecer e certificado saem de organismo verificador externo, como Bureau Veritas, SGS, DNV ou TÜV.
O plano prevê compensação de carbono?
Só para o resíduo que não dá para eliminar, e quando necessário. A prioridade são as alavancas de redução real: eficiência energética, eletrificação, migração para fontes renováveis e engajamento de fornecedores no Escopo 3. A compensação entra depois dessas reduções, não no lugar delas.
